As a balancing measure, don't forget nature. Just because a bathroom's modern, doesn't mean it has to be cold. A bathroom should be a haven from the world, where you can relax and recharge. Try placing some composite stones (available at landscaping specialists) into a big glass vase with some driftwood for a nice feature. Small potted flower arrangements also do the trick. Get creative alongside being practical to achieve a striking balance.
The modern bathroom can be a combination of exciting elements, both natural ambience and sleek minimalist discipline. There are no rules as to the overall style or the combination of themes, but try to picture what feel you want your bathroom to have and then seek out accessories that can help you achieve that effect.
